A Journey of Inclusive Education: Eco International School and OrbRom Center Partner to Empower Learners

On November 5, 2023, Eco International School (EIS) hosted a special education presentation by OrbRom Center.  The event, held at the school’s Boeung Snor Campus, was designed to raise awareness and provide valuable learning opportunities about special needs. The presentation drew a diverse audience of parents, teachers, caregivers, and community members eager to learn more about supporting children with special needs.

Understanding Special Needs

The presentation kicked off with an overview of special needs, highlighting the various types of learning and developmental differences that can affect children. Participants gained insights into the challenges faced by individuals with special needs, including communication barriers, sensory processing difficulties, and behavioral issues.

Identifying Children with Special Needs

Early identification of special needs is crucial for timely intervention and support. The presentation emphasized the importance of recognizing signs of developmental delays or atypical behaviors, encouraging parents, teachers, and caregivers to seek professional evaluation if concerns arise.

Supporting Children with Special Needs

The core of the presentation focused on strategies for supporting children with special needs. Participants learned about various educational approaches, including individualized education programs (IEPs), differentiated instruction, and assistive technology.
